im thinking of getting the hood put on my 2010 mz3 sport gs.
i was thinking i could put a cai where the scoop is rather than at the front of the car.
thoughts?

i was quoted at 450$ + 550$ for paint/install.

fu5ion did this. You'll need the MS3 fenders as well since the hood doesn't just plop on.

Holy, $1000 just to put a speed hood! you better off get a CF hood for the normal mazda 3 if there is any available.

+1 to Mistachin.

You can't just change the hood. I'm pretty sure you have to change the entire front clip (hood, bumper and fenders).

As for the intake, it won't make a difference in performance if you move it.

What I really want is the 2010 MS3 spolier on my GS. But that too is pretty expensive for the OEM one.

It will do something. Make a bigger hole in your pocket and add more weight to your car...lol

+1 !!! Waste of money. It won't do anything performance wise. All it will do is make it look like you are trying to make your gs appear to be a MS3.

I think deep down inside every Mazda 3 owner really wanted an MS3. :chuckle Can't blame them for trying!

You could also get a speaker mounted under your hood, record a whooosh sound and play that at lights too. lol, I kid I kid!
