Door Molding Removal

So I finally got around to removing the door moldings...but there is some residue left and its hardened up over time, what would be the best way to get rid of it?

Use a soft damp cloth to try to carefully wipe off the residue (without scratching the clearcoat). Then Claybar the doors.
