Hey i was just wondering id by installing an HID kit, will I be voiding my warranty?

If you overload the wiring, or melt the headlight enclosures, or otherwise manage to set your car on fire with them: Yes, you will void your warranty.

A battery harness with a relay will ensure the wiring doesn't overload (it shouldn't with 35W HIDS anyway even with a battery harness). And unless you buy a really bad cheap ass kit nothing will get too hot or go all melty.

If you install it without splicing/cutting any of the stock harness (the way I did it), you should be able to maintain your warranty no problem (unless, as stated, the actual HIDs are faulty and catch fire or something...)

EDIT: Well the chances of your HID ballasts catching fire are maybe 1 in a million. What I mean is if the HIDs themselves clearly caused whatever is wrong.
