I know it is not in Toronto, or even the GTA but I figured I would post my experience here in case anyone was thinking about getting a Mazda in the Sarnia area.
During my car search I spent some time at a few different dealerhsips, mostly Mitsubishi. I was usually hit with hard pressure to buy, and sometimes just complete idiocy. One Mitsubishi sales guy told me I didn't need to change the car's timing belt till 160Km when in reality it is 96Km. If that thing goes it would bend all my valves and basically cost me $2000+ (one of the reasons I went with Mazda, timing chain)
I saw a nice looking Mazda 3 on the lot at Auto House Mazda in Sarnia and decided to give them a call to find out some more information on the car. Spoke with Justin who was very helpful and gave me all the information I asked for. I met with him later that day for a test drive and got behind the wheel. He took me on a really nice test drive route where I could get the car up to a good speed as well as take it through some tight S turn curves.
When the negotiations began they went well, all of the things listed in the offer were address on pickup. I wanted a burn fixed in the drivers seat (can't even notice it now) an XM radio system removed, and a few other small things.
Overall the buying experience for me went from horrible to really great as soon as I went into Auto House Mazda. Would highly recommend the dealership to anyone local in the area.
