My buddy used it on his Sentra SE-R SpecV. He said it actually made a difference. I was thinking of using it before my next oil change.

Its mostly done on cars with higher milage (mostly older cars, depending on how much you drive) I was thinking of doing it myself too

I got 180K on my car so I'm hoping there will be an improvement after using Seafoam.

Can you post back please with an update after you try out seafoam on your car ? My sedan's at 173k so I'd like to know if it actually made a significant difference after seafoam.

I'd be happy to post the results when I do it. However, I won't be due for an oil change for a while, and you need to do a oil change right after using Seafoam because it breaks down the oil.

I wouldn't bother with adding it to the oil. Most people just add it to the fuel (low tank and then add gas so it mixes well) and suck it into the motor like in the videos.
Now show us da rice! :chuckle

Doesn't matter. Even if you don't add it directly to the oil, the seafoam will still be in contact with the oil, degrading it.

When I did my friend's 1996 Volvo, we only added it via the intake vacuum, and to the gas tank. Adding straight into the oil asks for a lot of unnecessary/heavily concentrated contact; there's always a lingering question on what happens to metals/bearings when soaked in seafoam.
The two aforementioned methods are more conservative.

I still want to change the oil right after using it regardless. I do plan on going through the fuel tank and brake line vacuum booster (IIRC that's what people on M3F say we should use).

Great. Now every ricer in Scab's is going to rock the Seaform. Nothing says fresh rice like a wicked burnout simulator coupled that turbo thing that goes pishhh pishhhh!

Seafoam isn't expensive. It couldn't have been more than 15-20 bucks at most.

i used it on my high KMs Sentra and it worked great, thing is use the whole bottle in the right places, keep your windows closed, do initial run somewhere then drive it for awhile (depending on how many k's you do) then do a complete oil change/air filter change/clean to
