Rear Shock replacement... avg cost from mazda dealership

Hi, im posting this for a friend,

I am curious what the approx, or avg price people have paid to have their rear shocks replaced on a mazda 3 hatch.


Also, my friend was quoted 400 from agincourt....is this fair?

My rears are leaking and apparently, if you sit in the back, it ain't so fun LOL.


Obviously I don't feel it at the front bwaha :P

how long did you oem shocks last?

It was my friends car, but hers lasted well over 100k, but i can't give you an exact number since they were totaly blown and leaking. Basically they were ready to explode and fall off

My 2004 M3 Sport with 214,000 km was ready for the second set when we traded it in. So, 100K sounds about right. I can't remember the cost, but it always hurts when the dealer fixes stuff.

thanks for the info. I'm almost at 60k so hopefully mine will last till at least 100k as well

I swapped out my oem's shocks early as well....but only looking to sell as a set of 4. Let me know if you are interested.
