Does not happen all the time but sometimes my angel eyes do not turn off after i turn off the car. I know they are supposed to stay on for 10-15 seconds and then turn off automatically but sometimes they will not turn off after that 10-15 seconds. so i have to turn the car on and off again and hope that they will eventually turn off...
does anyone know why and what to do to solve this?
thanks

You wired them wrong..
I never trusted the 'throttle body' fog mod / drl bypass..

Do you see them eventually turn off or you dont chance it ? I have them wired the same way but dont always stay to watch them go off.

I'll pay attention to mine to see if I ever have occurrences of this.

it's the fuel rail pressure that hasn't been released. Thus power is still active to the solenoid. The odd circumstance it takes a while.
Turning on then off the car, force purges the fuel pressure system.

If you wired them into that fuse everyone uses in the engine bay fuse box, there's nothing you can do and nothing you can change about the long wait. AKA there is no wiring issues your experiencing. You ultimate solution is to get your trigger wire for your relay (or direct power) from another source.

also depends on how long you have been driving. Some times it will take longer and shorter. my fogs on my 10 are the same some times they are instant sometimes they take up to 45 seconds. Doesnt bother me though. Its a nice courtesy light at night

Jeff-TheBiz showed me a way to wire up the fogs so that they turn on when u release the e-brake and shut off immediately when u turn off the car .. :)
In regards to angel eyes not turning off, just hook them up to a switch or find another electrical source that shuts off immediately when u turn off the car.

I know of that trick aswell BUT it only works on 04-06. In 07 and up the wiring is a little different preventing that pin to be used. My 10 the relay is not even in the fusebox, it's behind the washer fluid jug :O And to clarify the handbrake trick, it only works if you have the handbrake up and start the car. If you pull the handbrake up at a later time with the car running they do NOT shut off.
As for the power source I am happy with the way they are set up on my car its kind f a cool feature

So the fog relay is no longer located in the fusebox like the previous MZ3's? Who in japan came up with that idea?
Yeah I know the handbrake thing only works when it is originally engaged.

I honestly don't know but yeah it is in fact behind the washer fluid reservoir. Took me forever to find, but i was able to get the indy mod to work which I am happy with. Took me long enough to figure out.
