So my whole car is getting repainted and I get it back in a week or so, I want to know the best products to buy to keep my paint good. Like what wax and other products, do I have to wax it right when I get it? I don't know much about paint and I want my cars paint to stay good and shiny, the colour is black if that matters. Just what products do you use or recommend
Also I have new rims, katana gtm 18" black/red, what is the best products to keep my rims and tires at maximum shinyness without harming them.
Thanks

I believe you need to wait at least 30 days or 90 or 120 days before any wax is applied to it. However best to check with your paint guy. It varies depending on the type of clear coat and paint they use.
As for the Rrms, a lot of people have had a good experience with Poorboys Wheel Sealant. As for Tire Dressing, there's a lot of different choices. Everything from Meguiar's Endurance Tire Gel to Optimum Opti-Bond, Duragloss Wet Look Tire Shine, Stoner's More Shine Less Time. They all are about the same, some are more glossy looking and some are more like a matte finish type.

You're going to get all kinds of different answers because everyone has different preferences. My favorite wax is Collinite Insulator Wax. Best wax I've ever used, and it won't wash off. I washed my car once with dish detergent and the water was still beading like it was freshly waxed.
