Hey guys, I am going to see Jimmy tomorrow at Street Performance to install my prokits (thanks to your recommendation) and Pacific Mall is in the area so I figured I would make a day out of it!

I am looking for HIDs, 4300k-6000k and possibly eyelids. My question is what do they go for there? I know there are a lot of car modding kiosks (is that what you would call them? lol) and want to know if anyone has recently been there and noticed a price tag.

I would get them from DDM but the shipping is high, so unless I can get someone to split the shipping I won't be shopping there.

Just some insight would be nice, I know I am going there tomorrow and can just look myself, but would like others insight on pricing/quality!

Thanks a lot!

Why would you buy HID's from a shop in Pac Mall, as opposed to one of our sponsors that sells them? Buying through a sponsor gives you good prices, good service, and warranty. You also support those companies that support TM3.

I wouldn't buy stuff from there..
The rent there is so outrageous there that I automatically assume that they gouge you.

You have to sell a lot or stuff at really high prices to pay the 4000+ rent at the end of the month.

Sometimes the products at pac mall are crap. Someone said it above, Nextmod is only a few blocks from Jim's. If you know the back roads you can get to Peter's in less than 5 mins if you drive the speed limit.

If you wanted to walk around pac mall for the experience go for it, but get your car parts from someone that you know other people will back up.

Not necessarily. Some of the stores are already paid in full when pmall was originally built. Formula Imports is one of the 2 car stores there and is the only one that i support. I know the guy there personally and know where his stuff comes from. He also carries the same brand HIDs that Nextmod does and his sources is i think from Nextmod as well.

Underlying lesson here, is that you should probably shop around. Supporting TM3 vendors is a great thing to do and if the difference between pricing is marginal, i'd probably pay a few more bucks to get it from a reputable shop like Nextmod. If it's a huge difference, take it to a few places and see if they'll match - if nobody will even come close to that price, you're probably buying DUM HID kits where the top of the "u" is kinda bent inwards to look like a "d"

I agree with the above bolded statement. It doesn't just apply to HID's either.
