Do you guys wash if its going to rain the next day?

Do you guys still wash the car if its going to rain within the next day or two or would you rather wait till the rain passes to get a few good sunny days in a row??

I try to wait for a few sunny days in a row but the weather NEVER calls for that these days... so I just wash it if we're supposed to have at least one sunny day. (And 80% of the time it ends up raining that night anyway hahahha :complain)

yeah its been nearly three weeks since my last wash and I was planning on today but the thunder+rain coming tomorrow makes me contemplate the wash lol. cars pretty dirty though, been through mud and everything so i'm wondering if i should just wait till sunday

Yeahhh I hear that... when my car gets super muddy like that I'll just wash it anyway, regardless of rain or not... the rain usually just makes it worse, especially on a black car :(

Whenever I wash, it rains the next day. So in a way, yes, I do.

I usually was my car once a week.
But usually just a quick spray at the coin-op to get the road debris and bugs off.

I do a proper hand wash maybe every 3-4 weeks.

Full polish and wax twice a year

If i know its going to rain i get a huge pale of water and mix it with dish soap and juuuuust as it starts to rain i throw the huge bucket on my car n let nature do the rest

I use a California Duster on my car t least 3 times a day if I'm driving it.

I drive my truck if its going to rain.

+1.... lol.... that happened to me a couple of weekends ago. Washed, detailed, waxed.... the whole 9 yards. Less than 30 minutes later, a huge bird shit right on the hood that splattered everywhere... awesome.

It depends - if I'm washing the car because it's covered in mud? I'll just do a quick touchless gas station wash, regardless of if it's going to rain the next day. If it's a proper wash? No way.

I washed my cars interior yesterday and exterior today. Of course I forgot to check the weather and it rained tonight. and will tomorrow. and monday. But it was getting bad, dead bugs stuck in the weirdest places, and the interior is spick and span now so its not a total waste. I lifted the mat yesterday and quite a pile of gravel lol. And the cup holder was disgusting.

I say if its bad do it, if not, just wait. Or do your interior instead :)

I'd rather have it look good for a few days (rain won't ruin it right away) then leave it dirty for another week

Usually not, but I hate seeing it dirty. Like to handwash in summer but winter gotta car wash it. Don't mind in the summer especially after a wax. The next day you can really see it bead.
