Hoping to spot it! thinking on driving out to rattlesnake point in milton as there are some dark country style roads over there and up on a hill.

You have to be outside the GTA to see it. I saw it one year but I was on my way to Casino Rama and it was dark and I could barely see it but I saw it. I also saw it near Edmonton and what a difference there is.

ummm isnt the 49th parallel way north of TO? i know it says it could reach as far as TO but its a long stretch. There is some special solar blast or something like that, which is causing the lights to reach much farther than they normally do. I don't remember the exact details of it though. It has come down this far before, but it is not a common occurrence.

Solar explosion on the sun sent billions of particles to earth. They collide with gas particles in the atmosphere to make the colours. The colours depend on which gas type that the particles collide with.
