Weird whistling noise with windows down

Hey guys, I just finished breaking in the motor and when I pushed it for the first time, I can hear this whistling noise when my windows are down. It sounds kinda like blowing into a beer bottle, but higher pitched.

Should I be freaking out or is it just air currents making noise?

Check the fitment of your body panels, hood, etc.

The front door jams on the trailing edge should protrude slightly out from the leading edge of the rear door (1/16"). The leading edge of the front door jams should be 1/16" tucked in on the fender.

Check hood closure, especially the front edge. it should be level and tucked.

Check fitment of all plastic body components.

Check the front face of your mirror housings. Maybe something is out of wack.

If you have a sunroof, then your facked! ... unless you buy a sunroof visor to deflect the air from the anemic factory aluminum deflector.

* ... or maybe your car is simply thirsty!

Well the car's pretty much brand new and I don't have a sunroof so I will check the hood and the mirrors to see if it's that. Thanks!
I guess drinking and driving is OK as long as it's not me that's doing it right? Lol

I'm pretty sure it's not the turbo thou... but if it is... might be a problem w/ the turbo.

Is it only when accelerating or does it continue while at high speed?

If it's only when pushing then I would think it is actually the turbo, I know it sounds kind of silly but they do make a blowing on a beer bottle kind of sound.
I don't have a MS3 but I did have a GTI before and it would make that kind of noise, sometimes to the point that passengers would get annoyed and turn the radio up to drown it out. I never did, I loved that sounds.
