Hey does anyone know if there is a special holder that allows you to install your license plate off to the side on the front of the car.

I saw a member on here with this on a 2010 and I wanted to know if it was a special accessory or you just take the one thats on there now and move it to the side.

I think you are thinking of the RHO plate mount. Nextmod has it. There are people that have DIYed the stock plate holder to be mounted on the side, but it requires some work, and drilling holes in your bumper.

Most people use furniture screw plugs (not sure what the proper name is) that you can buy at CT or Home Depot etc.

yep. RHO plate.
Nextmod does have them, however, (unless Peter has brought in some specifically for the 2010's) they won't work for your car. :(

2010's have a different thread/bar size for the tow hook. I found out the hard way and had to order a replacement/new mounting bar from RHO-Plate (I got mine late on the GB).

RHO-Plate offers three versions. "2004-2009 MZ3/MS3", "2010 MZ3", "2010 MS3"

Everything is the same except for the mounting bar.
Just make sure you get the right one. ;)

Corksport sells one specifically for the 2010. Bit more expensive than the RHO plate at nextmod, but you know it will work since it was actually made for our year. I've also heard the corksport one is a bit better quality than the RHO plate.

I used a couple of 1/4" black hole plugs. Check here (http://www.spaenaur.com/view_pdf.asp?Page=J2).

I don't like the idea of moving the plate on the side. The profile on the 2010 front area is too round for that. It will stick out like a sore thumb , if you ask me.

I just lowered it to blend witht he grill. that's all.
