How to disconnect battery to restart ECU.

Any guides on how to disconnect the battery to reset ECU after doing the advanced ignition timing mod? Help would be much appreciated. :) Its a 2004 mazda3 HB

1. Search
2. Read epic list of threads found with search engine.
3. Go disconnect the negative terminal on your battery. Leave for 15 mins. Plug negative back in.

Maybe ask someone to do it for you? This is probably the simplest thing you can do to a car.

negative terminal is the black one fyi.

and you need something to loosen the bolt nut too.
