looks like some researchers have not only found ways to exploit security holes in CANBUS and OBD-II (http://arstechnica.com/security/news/2010/05/car-hacks-could-turn-commutes-into-a-scene-from-speed.ars) via direct connection to the OBD-II port...

but they've also discovered ways to send malformed data to a car's ECU via the wireless TPMS system (http://arstechnica.com/security/news/2010/08/cars-hacked-through-wireless-tyre-sensors.ars)

did anyone notice in the article they didn't want to name the manufacturer and model of the vehicle they tested yet the link in the article to the case study clearly has pics of a chevy impala?
