Hi all, I'm having issues with my BB storm. Its giving me an "app error 523" and will not load up. Can't find a solution on the BB website and need help to get it to work again. I did not do any back up on my contacts and need to get the info off of the phone before I run it over with my car...:bang

There's a good chance you won't be able to get your info off. Slight chance this method might back up your stuff:

Download the desktop manager software and the latest OS for it (9530 or 9550, depending on if it's storm1 or storm2). Install the OS, then connect the phone to you computer.

Go to C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader\, the run loader.exe - follow prompts to update the device, should ask if you want to back up your data and applications before wiping.
