Winter rims and tires

Where and what did you guys get?

I am told the minimum size in 17 inch. Did anyone shoe horn 16s on?

Looked at tirerack and they are saying "call us" which is kinda annoying. So I am hoping to figure out from people here first since sometimes call centre people talk out of the wrong end when you ask for tech info.

From my understanding, you can fit 16" on MS3s, but any smaller and it won't clear the brake calipers.

16" will fit. I think you need 205/60 tires though.

+1! I've had 16's on my '04 hatch and no problems. You will be fine.

some 16" steelies will fit, some won't.

the Mazda3 OEM 16" rims will fit as they just clear the front caliper:

Forgotten to mention it's a 2010 that I am going to pick up middle of september.

As I understand it the brakes are bigger on the new gen. Hence the question.

ooh, didn't realize that. This is good to know cause I was debating on keeping my 16's or getting 17's for my stock rims.
