Anyone get a ticket based on any of this? I know people with pitch black tails and no issues for them.

Well, how often is a cop going to measure how far from the rear of the car the taillights are visible? It doesn't appear to be illegal to do your taillights, as long as they're still clearly visible from 150m away. It's the headlights that are more strictly illegal.

Antifuse i agree with you 100%, but after speaking with some of my professors who are retired police officers, they all said if a cop is doing radar and cant see you coming from a distance bc of you head lights he can book you.

Now he also said this, if a cop pulls you over and you start giving him attitude, then the cop will look for something to give you a ticket for. He calls it the "attitude test".

So in other words if you get pulled over b respectful, crack some jokes with the officer, and he may let you go with a warning!:headbang

As for the back,a cop can pull u over at n e time and bc there tinted he can book u under the H.T.A under section 62 subsection (4).

He doesnt have to measure 150m, all he/she has to say when going to court, is he they a hard time seeing his tail lights.
