The practice day at the MOSPORT stop for the American LeMans series... along with the Mazda MX-5 Playboy Cup, Star Mazda Championship, LeMans Lite, and the Canadian TouringCar, this all went on in one weekend. I went to this event to watch the event instead of covering it, so I didn't bring out the full gear, plus alot of sections were blocked off for VIP or media only.
Anyway, these cars are FAST, the prototypes were surprisingly quieter than the GT cars and sounded alot better too. Note to self: Bring ear plugs next time. I got to the event at around noon and got to see the Star Mazda race, the LeMans Practice and the TouringCar race, there weren't that many people there, probably because it was only practice and all the major stuff happens on race day, so no girls, no models, no freebies =( But I still got to enjoy(and boil) myself in the wicked heat and got a pretty nice tan from the day!
