I think the appleTV thing isn't going to get off to well. Since a lot of TVs are coming with similar stuff built in, although true, not integrated with iTunes, which is the big plus here. But I don't use iTunes for my movies *cough cough*

i stopped watching, apple tv seems neat but it looks like you could lose it very easily along with your shuffle or nano.

wow I want that new Apple TV... wonder how it is on the wi-fi bandwidth though as there are times where internet connections can be spotty. Also wonder how long the rental is good for, or how many times you can watch it. if you rent a real movie you can watch it as many times as you want in as many places... so in theory you should be able take your apple tv with you to a friends house if you've rented it and watch it there as well?

new touch is awesome, agree wonder where the classic is going or staying the same

renting is probably just one time or unlimited times with in a given time period (24 hours?). given time period sounds more reasonable, just in case something wonky goes on with your internet.

I think it said you have 30 days after you rent a movie to watch it, and 48 hours to watch it after playing.

My only potential issue with the new Apple TV is that it only streams content. My 1st gen unit was not very good at streaming and maintaining connections with my non-synced computer. I'm also curious to see what the hacker world will come up with because with the ATV Flash patch, my 1st gen unit was a much more capable unit.

The game that Epic Games is releasing for the iphone (or ipod touch), Project Sword, has a free demo in the app store. It's called "Epic Citadel".

I'll have to download it when I get home. The Unreal Tournament engine on the iphone is going to be amazing.
