Hey guys,

I was wondering if anyone here knows a good reputable nissan dealership to bring my car in for maintenance? I bought my altima coupe from agincourt nissan but I have zero experience with their service side. Reason I ask is because my car is lowered almost slammed and I want mechanics whos competent enough or have experience working on lowered cars.

Not that you'd bring it up here, but I personally suggest you avoid 401-Dixie Nissan. When I was having stalling issues with my Altima, they couldn't figure it out despite 4-5 visits. They insisted on having useless work done to the car (I know it was useless because I had already done the work myself), then tried to blame it on a melted fog light harness.

I have had great experience with Alta nissan. They are suppose to be pretty good. Village Nissan has always treated me well but their sales dept I'd avoid.

stay away from Agincourt Nissan

I will refrain from posting my personal experience (not sure if I am legally allowed to)

Sorry not to highjack this and spin it into a Nissan thread

We just bought a 2010 Sentra 2.0S from Village Nissan early June, and I agree, be careful with the sales staff. I took a no nonsence approach with mine there right out of the gate, and before you knew it, I was basically driving the whole process. I had a gut instinct that they potentially could not be trusted, but no more than any other salesman at the other dealerships. I had quotes from other dealerships for the exact same vehicle I shared with them all in order to put everybody on the same page before the dealership incentive negotiations began. 3 dealerhsips were involved in the whole process from the beginning.
I was very happy with the end result with my saleman there and they under-cut everybody else...I asked for a brand new vehicle with less than 100Kilometers, and they delivered one with 14. I asked for a vehicle in 7 days, and they had one they found on a train that was ready for pick-up with me in 8.
The vehicle was spotless, (black in colour) not a watermark or spec of dust on it, I swear, it had a "do not touch" sign on the windshield, and was roped off when I got there to pick it up, gas tank was full, salesman insisted i sit in the vehicle with him and learn all about the radio/cd/ipod features as well as all the controls, and electronic features specific to trip/mpg calculations and other stuff like that.
He sent me a thank you card 2 weeks after delivery. I just really though he had a good personal touch and really knew how to do it right.
Now the sales manager/..he's a dick..I told my salesman I dont even want to meet him after I signed the deal. I was there numerous times before I signed the deal and the friggin guy wouldnt even give me the time of day, say hello or anything, and I told my salesman he is more than happy to share my opinion of him to him.
I got a survey from Nissan about the experiance and I trashed him pretty good.

If you can hang tight, my 1st oil change is scheduled for 7am Sept 24th...lets see if Im in and out of there in no time, find out if they start all the standard B.S, or find out appointments mean nothing to them.

Anyway, just as a FYI we got a 2009 M3 GT as well, that was bought at MoT last year, so thats why Im here. All that servicing thus far has been done at Agincourt (much closer) and so far so good with them.

The service side at Village will take care of you don't worry. They will, it is their job and bread, try to get you to do this and that but if you say no they'll drop the issue. If your car's got big issues they a lot of times will give you a free loaner. Just ask. If you get synth oil changes and your engine can't take the whole bottle they will leave you remaining in the original bottle in your car. You paid for it you get it right? Other dealers might just take the rest and put it in another car.

Their shuttle is a bit of a wait though but that's just their servie area's hwy 7 and that's never a fun drive when it's rush hour.

But yeah their sales manager's a dick. Hope you didn't buy their stupid rust proofing.

Oh and some other info. If you have any problems with your sentra and you want to know what it might be you can ask me. I had everything under the sun. Not to scare you but mine had a lot of problems. Nothing major mechanical but lets just say 2nd week I had the car it went back to the shop for 4 days to have steering rack and column changed for a noise and vibration when you turn full left lock at parking lot speed. Hopefully your's better and it didn't come with 1 heated and 1 unheated mirror like mine did :P

Thanks for the heads up. Ill give their service centre a shot, tho they dont have very many bays. That Agincourt Nissan is huge.Theres no way Im going to take a shuttle home for an oil change,, besides I got to get my ass to work when they are done, so it better be a quick in/out affair..
No other issues, except the rear headrests don't always stay in the lockdown position if/when I want to put the rear seat down. It takes forever to get them to stick for when I want to put the seat down.
Also i got the 3m clear bra protection on it, and its lifting an 1/8th of an inch on the corner of it on the hood. They are welcome to snip it off, just dont scratch the paint.
So far I like the vehicle.,,great gas mileage compared to the jeep I had and even slighly better than the Mazda3.

The folding seats is one thing I don't know about since the SE R doesn't have foldable seats.
