First Car - 2005 Mazda3 Sedan GT

Hello all!

I got my first car back near the end of April, and saw this forum shortly after. However, I decided to read first and join at a later point, which is today!

So my car is stock outside of a bug deflector. Due to the reading that I have done on here I also did the spin on conversion kit for the oil filter bought at QEW Mazda.

So plans for my car in the upcoming year or so (if I can afford it):
- Clay bar and wax
- Winter tires and steel rims
- Rally Armor mudflaps
- Sea foam
- eventually - SRI

Far down the line I might get sway bars, but it'll be a long while until I can afford those.

I'm looking forward to learning more and getting to know some of you!

How do you like the 2.0? The GT is the 2.3L engine. So far, I find fuel economy not too bad, but I've heard it's better with the 2.0L.

Once I get some things done to it, I'll get around to posting some pictures. If I end up lapping the car or heading to a track, I'll probably post pictures then as well.

We just bought a black 2k5 GT, 3 weeks ago as our second vehicle. We quite like the car it's too bad it's our second car as we use the suv to and from work.
