Car Cost Canada doesnt even have a listing for them even though they have info for the rest of the 2011 Mazda 3 lineup. I know they are out in the USA, just wondering if anyone knew whats going on here.

I suspect that most dealers still have 2010s in stock which they want to clear out first, not sure how well they have been selling up unitl recently, perhaps that's what has prompted Mazda Canada to introduce the $1000 discount incentive?

If the 2010 is the same as the 2011 what's the point? Just a number.

I want a CWP and they are hard to find in Alberta with low km's (i.e. not test driven and bagged on hard)

The info about 2011 is out on Canadiandriver. Doesn't look good they deleted some stuff and now a lot of the toys will be in a package. Prices TBD so we'll see.

The C&D one is for the states...they are gaining those toys which they didn't have access to before. Our MS3 is different.

Yup, the 2010 MS3 in the states was pretty stripped down compared to the Canadian version. That's why you could get it for something like $23k down in the states as well. I imagine they will be raising the price a bit for them.
The 2010 speed in Canada was essentially the US version + tech package. They didn't offer much in the way of options. If they are removing some bells and whistles that should mean a substantial price reduction in the "base" model. So if u don’t need the toys, it might be worth waiting.
That said...Dealerships now have stock on all these loaded 2010's. If Mazda releases the 2011 and a reduced cost I can't see the 2010's selling unless there is a price drop too. Not the best business strategy. But I think it really increase sales for the 2011. I can see the price maybe down at ~27k for the base.

Except you couldn't get the speed in Aluminum Metallic Mica (Liquid Silver). Up here in Canada they replaced that colour with Celestial Blue Mica

Ah man, you get the sunroof when you go for the 2011 GT trim... :(

That's pretty surprising actually. Mazda's stance this whole time was that they wouldn't put a sunroof in a MS3 because it would take away so much of the car's rigidity. Right now all of them have bracing all across the entire roof... I wonder how much this will effect the handling.
Although I always did want a sunroof.....:drool:drool:drool
There is no GT trim on the speed3, and thus no sunroof option either. I must say I REALLY like the look of that silver which is replacing the...CWP (WTF?!?!). It's still possible that the silver will also be an option for the 2011 in Canada. We don't know yet.

What? Mine is a GT.
Back when I got mine there at least was. GT came with the leather combo seats, Bose stereo, rain sensing wiper system, auto dimming mirror....etc etc.

I assume you are in the U.S.? I don't believe there was ever a GT model of the Speed3 officially released here in Canada.

You'll only see it in the States, and they refer to it as Liquid Silver

Yeah, the MZ kit looks good on a Liquid Silver / Aluminum Metallic Mica 3.
Looks even better when you do a vinyl overlay on the rear bumper valance.
