I recall a few people posting and were looking for jobs, heres an interesting one, pretty much $14.00 hr to start with potential to earn around $35,000 a year with bonus and overtime.
if I wasn't a student and had the summer off, I'd do this, sounds fun, scouring for used cars :chuckle
Btw- Here are a few more details.
Its a fulltime, 8am to 5pm job. Some overtime and the odd Saturday half day if we are behind on claims.
Basically what we do is find a replacement vehicle for a person who had his car written off or stolen. We don't have to physically find the car. We simply search for it online via Trader, wheels, driving etc, then we phone confirm the specs, availability and price. The trickiest part sometimes is in confirming exactly how the original car was equipped and confirming that the cars we find are as close as possible to the original car.
Another challenge is that every claim has to be completed within 4 hours. Sounds easy, but when you get in at 8 and there are 5 claims on your desk that have be out by noon it can be a scramble.
As long as you are fairly familiar with car models 3-10 yrs old, are comfortable on the computer, very detail oriented, good at staying focused on the job at hand and can stick to a tight timeline, should be fine.
Please give me call in the morning if you or someone you know is interested.
Good night, CCCPres
