Driftmania East happens every year usually out east near montreal... but with different stages, one stage always gets held near Toronto. This year, it was the final stage, and for the first time, held at the Mosport DDT track. The first time I saw this track, I knew it'd be way more fun to watch than the downsview one, the spectators were so close to the track, there were no need to any crazy camera to take photos of the drifters.
Although no much plan went into the advertising for this event, many show and shine cars eventually showed up and there were more spectators than I had expected. The grand stands setup were great, on both side of the track and allowing spectators to cross the track during breaks in the competition.
The sponsors/vendors section was tight, but allowed everyone to see the booths on their way to the grandstands. Ofcourse, many vendors came down from montreal so there were some products and cars that we usually don't get to see locally.
Overall, great event! I wished there was more advertising done and I'm sure this would turn out to be one of the bigger local events! Can't wait for next year!
