Question: I've sold my locked iphone 3Gs with Fido to a Rogers account user. Is there anyway to have the phone work with Rogers ?

If you haven't updated it to 4.1 OS then you can still unlock the phone. If not then you would have to try and restore to an older OS and then unlock it.
What iOS is on it?

Yeah. I'm not 100% sure but I know they didn't have an unlock available before but that may have changed recently. I'm sure someone who knows for sure will chime in.

Try this.
Put the ROGERS sim card in the iPhone, and restore the iPhone using iTunes. It used to work before, I am not sure if it still works...but iTunes will lock the phone to whatever sim card is in the phone during the restore (only 3G and 3GS).

I had heard that the answer was no, but that idea makes sense to me and am interested to hear what happens, GL
