fog light wiring issues

hey guys, im having issues trying to find a proper wiring diagram for the fogs i got off ebay.... i used to have a set but was hard up for cash so i sold them... they were instaled using the factory plugs in the bumper but they went with the kit, so i want to wire them using the harness the kit came with.

this is a smilar harness to the one i have. the red and black are easy, its the orange wire that is there that makes me wonder.... is that wire just to illuminate the switch light?

the one thing thats making me bang my head is that i dont want them on when the car isnt on..... so i want to be able to only turn them on when there is an ignition source. how do i do this? this is confusing me and ive been researching for the past few hours with no luck and it is driving me insane!


anyone out there able to provide me with the info i need, or a link, or some pictures i can use it would be much appreachiated.....

this may be confusing, but im hoping someone here has used the harness and not the factory one......

i can help you lol the orange needs a 12v to it for the relay i hooked mine up to my trigger wire on my subs but if you dont have subs just to the yellow ignition wire

i have my amp's running from the cigarette lighter for the ignition power...... would the wiper fuse work?

If you are picking the power under the hood.... since you have an '07 I believe you have the power socket in the console.... the fuse for it is in the underhood fuse box and it is switched.......................
