Hey,

I moved here from Trinidad & Tobago in June and got me a 2006 Mazda 3 Sport GT about a month ago. My plan thus far is to probably do some light mods to it, and maybe autocross it if I can find somewhere nearby. I'm located in Burlington for now and have learned quite a bit from this site since I got my car.

I haven't been able to find anywhere that sells aftermarket parts off the shelf though. Where do you guys usually get your stuff from? Are there any Canadian websites (as opposed to the popular US ones) that I can source parts from? Right now I'm thinking intake, exhaust, springs/ shocks and maybe sway bars. I may also consider some I.C.E. also, but nothing too extravagant.

Also... do you guys do your own oil changes or do you take it to the dealer?

Thanks guys

Welcome to the GT club. Check out the sponsors section for your mods sources. Check out NextMod for most of those things. Do my service at an affiliated dealership.

Thanks guys. As for the sponsors, I've already sourced a winter tire package from Simply Tire and have looked at the Next Mod website. Which CAI do you guys recommend? I've used K&N drop ins in previous vehicles and am very pleased with their products. I am right now leaning towards the K&N CAI mostly because of the washable filter.

Welcome to Canada and more importantly TM3!! I personally have the K/N intake and am extremely happy with it.
