Hey all :)
I stopped by the dealership today to inquire about swapping out my stock (2.0l m3) exhaust for a speed 3 exhaust! Unfortunately... the parts clerk told me that North America does not have that part, and ordering it would take months at the very least (really?! wow...) So I have a request!
If anyone who purchased their speed 3 is looking to quiet down there car, etc, and I know this is a stretch, please let me know if you are interested in an exhaust swap!
Otherwise, if anyone is simply looking to make a quick buck, let me know as well! :)
Thanks a lot!

Putting a regular exhaust on a speed3 shouldn't be done. They come with a stock 3" exhaust for a reason and that reason goes PSSSCHHHH PSSSSSHHHHH!!!
Just wait until a Speed owner posts up their stock exhaust and jump on it as quick as you can.

You know what there may actually be someone selling one already in the for sale section. If not, try checking one of the US forums, you can pick one up for a fraction of the price of getting one directly from Mazda. Mazda will probably charge you $2000 for it.

I will check, thanks! :D
And the entire exhaust kit/system is $691.99 + tax (CDN) So it's not all that bad haha
Let's see what I can find in the sale section; I didn't know there was one :$

That makes no sense. What happens when an MS3 customer needs a new exhaust, or replacement muffler?

Apparently they need to wait months?
I was taken aback myself :/ I even called him out on it... but all he said was "We don't have the speed parts in stock for sale; unless you get it with the car."
Bleh, I found that sale post though!!! I pm'd the guy :) Great deal!
What is the general process of private buy/sell of an exhaust system... would he take it off and give it to me upon payment, or do we just swap it into my car that same day?
:$ Like the box says... I'm a noob haha

$691 isn't bad actually... Give Joe @ MOT a call and verify what you were told by the other dealership. I find it hard to believe that they don't have something as simple as an exhaust in stock at their central warehouse.

There's a difference between the MS3 exhaust and the MS Accessory exhaust. Look it up and decide which one you want =)

+1 - especially with their welding skillz - I'm surprised there isnt a curbside full on the side of the ETR

In my opinion, I think they are on backorder as that does happen or they just do not sell enough to physically stock them.
To OP: You cannot put a regular exhaust on a speed 3 and the speeds are not loud from factory so I would recomend looking in to a used one. Also for the pricing that you were quoted sounds alot like the accessory speed exhaust pricing. Mazda stopped making the speed parts and accessories because of legal issues. The parts themselves are street legal but to many people were getting harrased.
