I've use a blackberry for almost 7 years, being in IT, it's email is what keeps me, and BBM. My opinion is Bias, as will be most peoples, do some research on somewhat "non-bias" sites like Cnet or whatever, and then write down the pro's and cons of each
keep in mind, each does something better then the other.... all depends on your use trends.

get a bb torch .... wont be dissapointed.........
read some reviews to determine what is a pro and con for your own use.
try places like:
phonearena
gsmarena
etc

If you do lots of messaging I'd say BlackBerry.
I don't do lots of typing. I watch videos and surf the web more than anything, which the iPhone excels at.

Definitely depends on what your major uses are for the phone. I have the iPhone 4 and I wouldn't trade it for any blackberry. I had the storm prior to this phone and it was a pos!
What I do miss about bb is the email setup. That's about it. I have "whatsapp messenger" on my iPhone which is identical to the bbm. Also whatsapp messenger is available for all blackberries. All my good friends whom are bb users have downloaded this messenger allowing bbm users and iPhone users to be friends :).
iPhone 4 rocks :).
Check out the end of this video. I got my phone set up to display any gauges I want from the cars computer. Little things like that won me over.

You will miss the email setup and keyboard and BBM if you do tons of typing/email if you get the iPhone. iPhone has wicked apps though... BB app world is getting better and so are the browsers though!
I'd throw the phone that kills the iPhone (in my opinion) into the mix... HTC Desire if your carrier has it. I have a Bold 9700 now but may switch in the next week or two...the 1ghz snapdragon processor owns!! I hate not having a full keyboard and BBM though so it's a tough call...

iPhone has better Apps and better multi media experience.
Torch if you need real keyboard. BBM is one of those social networking things that RIM is trying to get everybody hooked on. Browser is much better on the Torch compared to older BB. If you have a BB from your work it may have integrated VOIP on your BB also known as MVS. I make a lot of calls and it charges me data instead of minutes. Awesome part is I can make calls over Wi-Fi and it looks like I'm calling from my desk phone at work. I took my phone to Europe and leached off of hotel Wi-Fi to make free calls back home. Never had to turn on the Cell radio. i was also able to recieve calls too over wi-fi.
I'm not sure iPhone has these abilities. I've heard a lot of cool things about the new Playbook and how it will interact with BB phones. Very stoked about that too.
Bottom line... iphone is a fun sleek phone with cool simple apps, fun games and user friendly. BB is very functional, not as user friendly but can offer many enterprise tools unmatched by any other phone maker. no doubt their keyboard is the best on the market.

If you have lots of time to kill, iPhone all the way. Selection of apps and games are simply awesome.
If you send out a lot of emails and messages, I can't do without BB.
I got both IP4 and Torch and wish I can switch them easily (switching sims is a bit of pain).
That way, I would use the Torch during the week and IP4 during the weekends.

As stated in various threads.... in all depends what you are using it for.
I just recently got the Blackberry Torch (for work purposes.... ie. easier to email), but I still have my iphone as my personal phone. I have no issues whatsoever with either.
...... except of course that my personal line is with Fido and work is with Rogers. Damn you Fido for not offering BES service/ plans :flaming
