Hallo folks,
Just purchased a 2010 GX Sedan mid-September. Really impressed with the car as well as the community. I lurked through the forums for the last month and the camaraderie is great, which has in turn led me to join the forums.
And with that, I'd like to make TM3 my new home for a while.

Sweet! I've got it all planned. First I'm going to desecrate the 'Speed section of the forum by asking questions about my GX and then I shall reply to everyone who posts in my welcome thread with the word "Thanks!" - and nothing more.
All in a days work. :chuckle

Get out while you still can! Lol. Addictive it is. Welcome to TM3! First piss off a senior member by asking questions that you should have searched for first. Then ask when you can edit your posts ans when you can put stuff in classifieds.

Indeed it is. I try not to have too much GS/GT envy. :drool
I was looking at the specs for the 2011 GX. With the comfort package, the car is stellar. They've really hit the sweet spot on the price-for-features scales.
It would've been nice to have keyless entry on the 2010 standard. Being the noob I am, I thought keyless meant having one of those RF smart cards - naturally I refused.
In a way, its not too bad; from what I've gleaned from Dan's posts is that folks who have factory keyless entry and add remote starters get another dongle for their keychain. I'm assuming that if I go to one of our sponsors, I could try and get an OEM-looking remote which does keyless entry and remote starting.
I'll end up adding at least keyless+remote start and fog lights once my cash flow stabilizes again. Just picked up some WeatherTech Digital Fits the other day.
Thank you for the warm welcome everyone. No pics just yet - will take some at a later date.

You are off to a good start with the Weathertechs. I first got the Mazda all season mats but they didn't do the trick. Look great though.
I think Audio Heaven has regular sales on remotes with install. Got my tints there and NextMod has a kickas* one called Zenesis but I don't think they install it.

Thanks! While the Mazda All Season Mats did look good, I was not impressed with the heel-wear pictures I saw. My previous car had some $30 Walmart Mats for 7 years and apart from a little scuffing, they still look good. So I ditched the idea of the Mazda AS Mats and went for the WeatherTechs.
I had a look at the Zenesis website and I must say I'm impressed with how the unit looks compared to some of the other aftermarket units. I hope it performs just as well. Time to do some research.
