As the title states trying to gauge interest in a trip down to Buffalo over the break to watch some hockey. As of right now they are not selling individual tickets but they are selling packages. One of the packages is an all day pass that lets you see all the games in that areana for one ticket. Days/prices/number of games are as follows.
Individual day passes will go on sale to the general public starting at 9 a.m. on Friday, November 26. Day passes can be purchased online at here, by calling 1-888-467-2273, or at the HSBC Arena Box Office. Fans are encouraged to purchase early for best seat selection and game day availability.
Day pass pricing is as follows:
Sunday, December 26 - 3 games - $225-Lower Bowl / $165-Upper Bowl
Tuesday, December 28 - 3 games - $200-Lower Bowl / $150-Upper Bowl
Wednesday, December 29 - 2 games - $110-Lower Bowl / $80-Upper Bowl
Thursday, December 30 - 2 games - $110-Lower Bowl / $80-Upper Bowl
Friday, December 31 - 3 games - $200-Lower Bowl / $150-Upper Bowl
Sunday, January 2 - 2 quarter final games - $110-Lower Bowl / $80-Upper Bowl
Monday, January 3 - 2 semi final games - $225-Lower Bowl / $165-Upper Bowl
Wednesday, January 5 - Gold/Bronze medal games - $300-Lower Bowl / $200-Upper Bowl
Day passes are not available for December 27 and January 4
Besides the finals/semis/quarters, the day I'm looking at is Dec 26 sunday, there are 3 games going on at the HSBC arena, Germany vs Switzerland (ho hum), Canada vs Russia (woohoo), and Usa vs Finland (could be good). Tickets for these particular ticket packages go on sale on Friday, and will probably go fast for the good days, you can check the schedule here:

Again doesn't have to be that date, but for the prelims I think that's the best line up of games. I wouldn't mind also going to the quarters or semi's. the Quarters especially seem to be a really good deal especially for the uppper bowl. If we could get this together I could order all the tickets. All I'd need is a deposit (EMT or meet up) so I know your serious, we can discuss travel arangments closer to the date. There's some time between the games and time after if anyone wants to do some shopping, get some wings/burgers or hit the casino.
