Weird Dancing Gauge Needles!

I turned my key to second position (electricals on) and my entire dash lit up, and all the gauge needles spun up to max and then did some funky dance and went back down.

Anyone know what the hell that was? Kinda scared me, but was also very entertaining (very cool to seem my speedometer maxed out).

This was in the 3? I know some cars the instrument cluster does a full range sweep at startup.

Make sense! I left my headlights on by mistake for about an hour and something before I got back to my car to turn them off!

probably your battery is about to go.. better change it.. mine did that.. the gauges maxed out and started blinking like mad..
