resonator delete

I have Corksport test pipe and now just removed my resonator.
It sounds amazing... recommend+++

HotRod Scott's on Kipling did it for $135. Affordable..

No power gain from res delete, but not louder.. but rather deeper. It has a really nice growl.
The cat delete power gain was noticeable.

also, the 'popping' (backfire) from fuel burning in the exhaust sounds great.. my girlfriend says that it sounds angry.. lol

It makes the overall feel of the car much more enjoyable. It feels as though the sound now gives all that power justice. ;)

Damn, I got the cobb downpipe and cp-e exhaust.....If i did this I think I will have every cop in town pull me over.

fast_dude: You can do a res delete on the cp-e exhaust as well. I haven't heard it myself, but other members have done it... You should try it! Although I like being able to go WOT on my car without anyone looking because my car is pretty quiet!

It's not that much louder.. Totally tolerable.

Only catch is that you will need to be prepared to have your exhaust cut and welded. I don't think your warranty will be cover any exhaust issues going forward. I mean, if they cover it in the first place?

The only that makes me neverous is being pulled over by the cops....lol How long did it take you to get booked in for the work?

What are u going to get a ticket for? Resonator has nothing to do with emissions. And even with the test pipe replacing the cat, I'm pretty sure I will still pass emissions. This car has a pre-cat.. Should still pass.

The noise from a srt4 is waaaaay louder and it comes factory like that. Cops can't do anything.
