Mine is on order and I was just looking for others feedback. From what I have read and seen, nextmod is a great shop that carries quality parts and has a great knowledgeable staff.

Thanks man, ill check that out for sure. Just looking for feedback now because I took a second glance at the bill and realized I was only being charged 40 dollars to paint it. That just sounded off to me. I am happy though.

I found some threads regarding hydrolock but nothing specific to what I am experiencing. Question: Did I hydrolock?

I am running a AEM cold air intake on my mazdaspeed3. The intake is roughly in line with the drivers side tire. This afternoon I got in my car to commute home, upon leaving the parking lot and moving through the gears I noticed I lost a significant loss of power when I hit about 3000 rpm in 3rd gear. Got nervous and drove very cautiously home the rest of the way. Hit the gas one more time before parking and it happened again in 3rd gear. Called Mazda quickly and they said it sounds like a hydrolock. I popped the hood and pull things away and noticed my filter was as dry as if I just took it out of the packaging.

Anyone else experience anything like this? I have about 24,000km on it. Could it be the spark plugs already?

That's what I told Mazda when I called to schedule possible service. They're convinced it's hydrolocked because of the intake. I should know more tomorrow after I take it in.

Condensation in your intake, when drops of water hit the MAF you get a high reading and it ****s with all the fueling logic and your car stutters. It's not good but you aren't screwed, just take the MAF out and dry things up carefully....or give it a couple days to dry out on its own.

Took it in to Mazda this morning. They had it all apart and hooked up to all the diagnostic equipment and found nothing wrong with the car. They told me to keep an eye on it and bring it back if I experience any further problems. It did drive really well from westowne Mazda up to Dufferin and Steeles where I work. Either way, thanks to everyone who posted last night with advice. I really appreciate the help!

Make sure you hit up burger world hungover on a sunday morning after going to the zoo/cecils on saturday night. very true, but i was trying to get some information as to how he was able to achieve 400hp on pump gas, what ive read from other people experience even with 3071 its hard to reach 400hp without e85 or meth, something called knock limited.

Indeed. The handle is just beside the shifter, the one with the shiny button. For the 2010 tech package, you have 2 locations... 1 mentioned above, the 2nd location is where the key goes originally.

Lol, good luck with getting her to not hate it.. Haha. However, as all the mounts settle they get a bit quieter. My previous car I had the passenger mount, dog bone mount a d transmission mount. When I first installed all that the car sounded beastly but after a month or two the car got a lot quite but still a bit louder than before the mountain. She'll be fine... Lol

people have other obligations and i dont think car parts are at the top of the list... im not a window shopper ive bought many parts for my car in the time frame ive owned it, im simply trying to point out there is a rate at which parts can be purchased with reality in mind... for me at least...

You'd be surprised how many guys in here have upgraded fuel pump internals. I haven't read about anything about them failing... At least not on TM3. MSF perhaps, mostly because of improper installation.

It's been a very slow process trying to get people together for it... I think we have 4-5 people as of now but none 100%. Considering buying mine independently but I am in no rush because I am taking the baby step method :D

I've had people back away from the curb downtown because they thought I wasn't going to be able to stop with all the shreaking.

HP+ dust sticks to the rim and will eat through the clear coat. wash frequently or wax the rim often so the dust doesn't get baked on.

have you made any changes to the old map?

if you haven't, then why not change it? If you're running OTS then the newer map should be an improvement. If someone has tuned the shit out of the older map then it makes sense to keep it unless you can apply those changes to the newer map.
