I am just bored here waiting for my exam, and sifting through AutoTrader I saw this MS3 for $12,000.

I find it too hard to believe this car is actually going for that price...its too good to be true. I would go check it out in person even if I wasn't going to buy it lol.
It looks clean in the pictures..:whoa
Just thought I'd put it out there for anyone who would like to check it out :chuckle

I hear you on that one, my guess would be its around 100,000. For a MS3, that's a lot.

Mat sold his for a steal. So it's possible, high mileage isn't always an indicator of a bad car. The person could have just really enjoyed driving it.

probably higher given the price. If it was 100K they would probably list it.
179 is insane, I don't even know how that guy did that! He must drive like 200kms a day!
Wow, that must be the highest mileage MS3... You know he didn't beat it, because the engine is still in one piece! Besides, at that price, assuming everything else is good, just drop in a new engine when that one goes.

someone on this forum went to check it out: it's been serviced at a Mazda dealership from day one and had oil changes every 5000kms; I believe the brakes are also new too.
IIRC, the 179,000kms are mostly highway kms so it's actually better for the car than one that sat in stop-and-go traffic every day.

Just off lease? You wonder how much that leasee paid for that over km? lol
4 yr 80000km lease....about 90k km over....if that's 0.15c per km....the guy is paying $13500 upon returning the car.

Yup car has been serviced at Mazda since day one. All new brakes bought from me at MOT. It has 179,000 km as mentioned earlier. No mods and it's clean, one owner vehicle. I even checked on the warranty history and nothing major was replaced.

this car's the perfect candidate for a BT and/or internals upgrade. so far out of warranty and pretty cheap that the money you save will go towards buying those parts.
