I always leave my ipod in the glovebox hooked up to the car via the adapter. When I took my 3 today it no longer worked. It was working fine yesterday night. I checked to make sure it was still plugged in right, it is. There is nothing wrong with the ipod either.

Why would the ipod adapter kit suddenly stop working?? It doesn't seem like there is anything loose from the outside.

Thank you!

i assume its working now.
usually the cold weather makes some stereo components act funny.

My CD didnt work all morning until I went for lunch and it magically fixed itself

Still not working. I park underground so its really wierd. When I parked last night I had it working fine, when I started it this morning its "no disc". Hope it fixes itself I guess.

i guess he means to pull the neg off the battery for 10 mins which reset's everything in the car.

whats the downside of that?

no downside at all. just when you turn it back on all your radio presets will be gone. thats about it. oh and the car may NOT start so easily because the ECU needs to relearn everything. not to worry though

if it says "no disc", the ipod isn't getting turned on by the adapter.. it happens when the ipod battery has a low charge... it has happened to me everytime I start the car, but after a few seconds, it gets enough of a charge to turn on and it works fine afterwards

It's not charging the ipod anymore either, after doing fine by itself in the glovebox for months. Battery still has a 3/4 charge.

Strange. See if there is voltage in the module. Maybe it disconnected.
My 2 cents... dont leave your ipod in your car over night. it will ruin your battery life. Cold weather basically kills every battery out there...

hey so unplugging the battery for 10 minutes seems to have done the trick.
