2010 Speed Owners and Satellite Radio Connection

Hi All,

Just wanted to check in to see if any of you got a free Sirius subscription with your new Speed purchase, and if so how long was the free subscription for? If you did, was it already activated by the dealer when you picked it up or did you have to do it yourself afterwards?

I got a 6-month subscription that I activated myself after I brought the car home. Liking it so far.

not a speed owner but got a 6-month trial with my GT. activation was done at home.

I had a 6 month free subscription with my gt when I had it. Never activated it though. Then when I got my speed I got a free 6 month again didn't and have not activated it yet. I have a portable one from xm though and I LOVE satelite. Well worth the money IMO. Mind you though I am in the car quite a bit and radio can get very annoying with all the stupid commercials and news. I don't want to hear it I want MUSIC. Ipods and cds get old eventually

There was no free trial on my car though it is Sirius enabled. I'm also pretty sure I won't ever get tired of my insane number of Beatles, Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, and AIR tunes on my iPod. Am I the only one feels that the quality of music on satellite radio is pretty crappy compared to well-ripped iPod tracks or CDs?

I feel the same. That's why I haven't activated the trial.

Mine sounds pretty good but mind you I have a deck that puts 5v preouts to the system which improves the system HUGE. The bass is actually their and with the full eq I was able to get it to sound amazing no matter what. The only down side is the link between my deck and the satelite is quieter then a cd or radio for example. The quality of sound is great though
