CPe tow plate

Hey guys

I just picked up the CPe tow plate for my speed 3. I was just looking at the instruction manual. The manual says I have to take off the front bumper to install the tow plate. Has anyone tried to install the tow plate without removing the front bumper?

you can do it with bumper on the car
