Hey guys, tried searching at tm3 or google, but I can't seem to get a straight answer for my car's steering issue.

A few weeks ago, I went to the car wash at Red Maple and Hwy 7. As I was going in, there was a huge block of ice in the middle before going to the ramp. I tried going around it by the side, but the car slipped sideways and the ice hit the inside part of the right wheel.

After that, the steering feels sloppy and the handling seems a bit "wobbly". Not sure how else I can explain. But hopefully someone here can help me out in trying find what the problem is and how to fix it.

Note: I don't think I can put it in the warranty since the car is lowered when it hit the ice.

Thanks for the help!

i dont know if this is the problem but it may need a alignment done on the car

how easy is it to take your steering wheel apart? maybe have a look?

disregard my previous post. i misread your post. lol

i agree with mazdaskit. My fathers van slid into the curb and the car was really wobbly. We ended up doing alignment. fix the problem right up.

If it was a hard hit, there might be other damage too.

I'd bring it in for an inspection as soon as possible. You don't want to loose control while driving.

Why risk it?

The loose feeling doesn't start unless I go around/over 110km/hr, but I do notice the wobbly feeling more on slower speeds when changing lanes.

Will probably get an alignment done and get my cambers installed. Will let you guys know how it goes.

Thanks for the feedback!
