I'm looking to buy one, I know most dj's use serato but I heard traktor has more features? Plus Trakor is almost half the price of serato. Does anyone here have an option?

Here is a video of qbert demoing them .............Man this guy is dirty

Traktor hands down!!! The price, features, and GUI beat out Serato IMO. I've never looked back at Serato after I purchased Traktor.

What you pay for Traktor? I may be looking to upgrade soon but I love my VirtualDJ

VirtualDJ is a good program to learn on since it beat matches for you automatically and all you have to do is play the song in time. I picked mine up off kijiji brand new for around $400.

To the OP, what do you plan on using this program with? Turntables, CDJs, controller? Coming from 15yrs on TTs I prefered the functionality of Serato it's a bit more like a natural extention/progression of what a DJ would want to do on tables, but I found that alot of ppl coming from CDJs prefer Traktor since the features are more like a CDJ on roids.. just my 2cents.

I agree with gswift.

just picked up traktor. it's solid and for $330 its a steal. its great if you're gonna use a controller and has tons of features.

i've also used serato, not as many features but feels more stable for some reason and tighter with tts.

are you going to use your tables?

Well , I only use TT (have been for 20 years). I used to Dj a lot in the early 90's now its just a hobby, i'm swinging toward traktor duo for 189 then upgrade to pro from thier webiste for 79 :)
