Proud new owner in Ottawa

Hey folks, proud new owner of a brand new 2010 Mz3 GT Sedan (got a deal on it cause it was "old" stock).

Don't have any good pics cause it hasn't stopped snowing since I picked it up last week, and it's filthy from all the road grime.

The car came from the dealer with a really slick carbon fiber trim kit. Probably not real but it looks nicer than the gray.

This looks like one of the more active Mz3 related forums... glad to be here :)

Yeah, mostly interior but there's a strip running down the sides, and a carbon "Mazda3" logo on the lip of the grill. Is this an actual Mazda option?

Here's a couple pics of the interior carbon fiber kit.. it doesn't show up well but the bezels around the vents, and door handles are also CF. I would really like to know if this is a Mazda package, or aftermarket, or custom... ??? All I know is I didn't pay for it... :D I like it but it's not something I would have done myself.

I've never seen the outside pieces, but the interior trim is definatly a dealer option.

Nice ride! The CF interior is interesting - I think that's someone's custom handiwork... I've never seen it before at any rate.

There's a number of us in Ottawa (myself included), perhaps we shall run into each other at a meet! :thumbsup

Of course, I still need to go myself... cough cough...

Not a big fan of the CF... I haven't seen a kit yet that doesn't look obviously aftermarket.

If the car was bought in Gatineau, his entire exterior woulda been full of carbon fiber stickers.

The CF trim does look nice though.

I think the C/F is alright, but it would have looked way better if your interior was black instead of grey. Never the less, you have it so enjoy it.
