Perhaps this is old news for some you that follow the MSF forums more than I do.

Anyway, I was just surfing around the COBB site and some other parts retailers and it appears that COBB no longer sells the COBB springs for the MS3. Many of the parts retailers also no longer sell them.

Have they been discontinued and if so, does anyone know why they are not being sold anymore?

I think they are discontinued. I emailed Street Unit a month ago asking when they would have them back in stock, and I was told COBB no longer makes them.

when the US economy went into the tank, Cobb stopped making hard parts for certain platforms. one of those cuts were the MS3 springs.

Thanks for confirming.

I have a few PM's out to see if anyone has any in-stock/surplus.

Gotcha.

Hotchkis no longer manufacturers the springs for the MS3 or for COBB for that matter, which is probably the reason why COBB discontinued selling them. I was hoping to find a supplier with an inventory of the COBB springs, but so far nada.

If you can wait a few weeks, I'm leaning towards a coilover setup and will be offloading my Cobb springs...

Thanks CJ. I'd prefer new and still haven't exhausted all options yet, but if in a couple of weeks yours are available, fire me a PM and we can chat about potential deal. Appreciate it.

Zoom Zoom: Np, will do!

Tokay: Just the stock struts. They lasted me 30k km... lol. The ride right now is brutal. If anyone is considering doing this on stock suspension, I'd reconsider... Unless you don't expect it to last very long.
