Great price for exterior/interior premium detail! @ QEW Mazda

Hello everyone,

I was interested in a premium detail package that includes the following, so I called up QEW Mazda for the following services and got a fantastic quote:

Exterior:

-hand wash
-hand wax and buff including clean/shine
-tire dressing
-edit: engine shampoo is part of the package

Interior:

-Windows (front,sides,rear - inside/out)
-vacuum carpets, chairs, and trunk, in addition to spot cleaning (I got beige interior, damn thing is so hard to maintain -- but worth it! :))
-dashboard/steering/etc and interior plastic/vinyl dressing


I got a great quote of $129.95, and apparently for this month its $99! :thumbsup

Great deal and those of you who need it, should not pass by this! I look hard everywhere, and don't think anyone can match!

I expect the quality work to be great since I usually get a hand car-wash from the detailer at the dealership and he does a great job, in addition to hand-drying !

Good price for sure. However, who is doing the detailing? Do they have a dedicated detailer, or is it whichever junior tech has free time on the given day? What detailing products are being used?

For this price, I might be interested in bringing the wife's car to be detailed, but no way do I let someone touch it who doesn't know what they are doing. Especially with a machine buffer...

In regards to time, it all depends on how dirty your car is of course, it can take anywhere from 2-5 hours avg

Yes we do have two dedicated detailers no junior techs wash, clean or do any detailing what so ever.

You can call in and pay visa or mastercard, and the note would be detailed on your customer profile. When you decide to book the appt it would come up noted pre paid on the file and can be added to the work order. once the detail is completed the added note would be removed.

If of course you are looking for a complete price for interior shampoo, Carpets, Floor Mats, seats (front and back) any salt removal if required. When you come in for the lvl 3 detail, we will look at the interior and try to come up with the most cost effective way to shampoo the areas you are concerned about.

Regrettably we can only book one at a time, unless of course if you both were able to wait for both vehicles which may take a bit more time for the back to back. but we are able to complete two lvl 3s in a days time. i dont see any reason why we would not be able to remove the overspray do make sure to show me when you come in so i can inform my detailers. i wouldnt ask you to handwash it off, we will take care of it.

Sorry for bringing this thread back up, but I had a question regarding the level 3, and "wheel well washing." Do the detailers clean up the brake calipers as well? Mine are painted but fairly dirty, so trying to see if this is included or not.

no they do not clean the calipers. they can try and remove and dust or dirt off them but they do not clean them

I don't have before pictures but believe me...they weren't pretty. Both interior and exterior were extremely filthy to the point where I felt I should have sprayed down the car after the cottage weekend before bringing it to QEW Mazda.

John (Booter22) took care of me when I arrived. First time at QEW Mazda so John showed me the customer waiting area (WiFi, HDTV, Coffee and delicious cookies!). Ran into POGI as there as well! Got in shortly after 9AM and was handed back the keys at around 1:30PM.

Pictures of my 2004 looking like a 2011! Thanks again to John and the QEW Mazda detailing techs for a job well done. :)

well that does of course all depend on the swirl marks themselves, how heavy they could be but this detail did not include a buff, only a wax application. i also dont believe any details will remove rock chips as the paint has been removed the only fix for that would be a touch up pen.
