Hey

my drivers side one is fogged up.... so a hour with a hairdryer i had no luck so i tryed to drill a hole to drain excess water and junk...it worked but now it looks like hell

my car is a 05 hatchback but there is a sedan parts car 20 km away so i might go for it if it would work...

thanks

I would have taken the bulb out instead of drilling a hole....
As for interchangeability, I don't think they are.

i did take the bulb out but the clear plastic outerseal would not drain....

i tryed a air compressor to blow it out and then a shop vac but no dice ... it was sealed like a snow globe...

At one point my tail light some how filled with water all I did was pulled the tail light out drained what ever water I could out then I turned a little heater on and left the tail light in front of it over night .. By morning all the water evaporated and then I put silicone around to seal it and never had a problem since.

To answer your question i think they are different
