Don't know if this a repost but its a thread i wish i read prior to running my catless dp x3 months... I expected a CEL so when it came up i didnt think anything of it. Apparently i have been running pig rich for all this time and my fuel econ has been almost half of stock.... The 2nd o2 sensor isnt heating up so the PCM thinks the car is running lean... Read this whole thread as it is well explaind.. Anyways hopefully this helps someone else.

This doesn't effect all catless DP's but i believe its common with CPe and UR..

Did you notice it losing power? Running that rich should have result in some power lost.

Did you do oil analysis to see what your fuel dilution was?? Hope you were running a good quality synthetic! Everything I have read you should never go cat-less DP due to being unable to control boost spikes! Hence why Cobb does not have a tune for this & would not let cat-less DP's users into test group for Gen2 AcessPort!

As for power loss I did not notice any loss in power because of the large gains I was getting from the free flowing exhaust. So I figure the gains i received are just not as great as they will be once this is sorted out.

It's recommended to have a cat somewhere in the system not specifically the DP. I did a bunch of boost logging through out and never had any spikes or creep. I'm just going to change my oil in the spring. Add a catted TP and hope everything is fine.

Update....

AFR's have returned to normal with the new bung hole... Previously hwy AFR's were reading rich at 14.1 but now have retuned to normal at 14.7.

New code i am getting is the Cat efficiency below tolerance code which i am told will not effect the ECU.... This is to be expected as i dont currently have a catalyst....
