So as of February 22nd I will be starting at Fisher and Ludlow. They make steel grates for like steps and platforms etc. http://www.fisherludlow.com/ I will be starting off at $16 an hour plus benefits then after a year make 24 and keep going up. I will miss Polycon though as I met so many wicked people in the year I was there. But time to move on. Gonna suck though making a 50 min commute one way a day. But still excited!

That's awesome dude! As long as your making more that's what's important And btw 50 minute commute isn't so bad. I know guys doing a 2 hr commute now that's just insane!

Exactly. I am excited cuz I am going into a decent career path that could see me buying a house in a year or 2.

I am not looking forward to driving from Guelph to Burlington everyday but it is worth actually working for a company instead of sticking with this temp company hoping to god to get hired on. Plus benefits are great since I moved into my own apartment.

What will you be doing there? My wife will be looking for work soon and wouldn't mind that kind of money.

Tycos builds the injection moulds that you guys are running.
I haven't been to Polycon yet but I will have to in the future to repair our tools if there are any issues.
Small world. :)

Injection moulding is the worst job in there. It is too hot and fast paced. I was on the spider welder for a week and it was rough. That name is on the machines though. I pray you don't fix them when it is summer or good luck.

You guys make bumpers right? I know a few ppl in the paint dept. over there. I use to work at exterion in newmarket before they closed down and moved most of the work to your location. Anyways good luck on the new job.
