Anyone here know of a shop who has had experience painting tail lights (from clear to red)
Your assistance would be greatly appreciated!

never heard of anyone painting tail lights. Will you bake them open before delivering to the shop? I doubt any shop is going to be willing to open the rear tail lights, paint, re seal for you. Perhaps a film would be a better solution.

isn't Night Shade applied to the exterior? I was thinking if you were truly painting you would paint the interior much like headlights.

Agreed... Only way to mod these would be to open them up and paint, bake and reseal.
Google the Sema 2010 Mazdaspeed3 and take a look at the tails....sweet look and the bumper is bangin
A body shop would be able to paint then for you...I know in the states alot of guys paint them red.. I rember once in one of my truck magazines they did a right up on how they done it... They painted the out side of the lights then cleared it.
Just go to a body shop and see what they can do for you

Just googled, those tails look amazing!! I wasn't to crazy about the 2010+ tails but after seeing pictures of that speed changes my entire aspect. A film would definitely not get the look you are aiming for, those may actually be an aftermarket set of tails all together?

@ aris.... my hope was to hear from someone who has had the mod done here and had a good result as it is a pretty big job.
@igozoom... told ya bro... It looks great and exactly the look I am going for, so if you know of any shops capable of doing a fantastic job...please pass it on to me.

Funny, thats the exact color I was told to use by a guy in the states, now ... Apparently it is only painted on the exterior of the lens...hmmm... Intersting spin on things.
Dave have you done this before?

No, I never minded the amber on my e30, never occurred to me to paint my current.
