If your question is with regards to colour, white or yellow = either 3k for yellow or 4.3k for whitish yellow.

3000K for Yellow, 4300K for Pure White, 5000K for that white (with a hint of purple) that you get from high end german cars, and 6000K-8000K for whiteish-blue to blue (anything over 8000K (10000K-12000K) is -very- blue)

EDIT: Found some pics:

Check Garage16, they have them on sale for a good price.

Don't buy those bulbs, they are junk. Any bulb that you pay <$20 for two is not going to be very good.

Those aren't really HIDs, more like just bulbs you plug and play into fogs. I have something similar on my fogs (plug and play bulbs), but I'm guessing you want brighter so go for an HID kit, check our sponsors like NextMod or ImportsTuning for ex.

I'd go for the 4300K or 5000K, that should contrast with your 8000K and look more yellow.

See if you can check out the 3000K in person if you heading down that road, they're really bright and yellow.

Thats not a true statement.I paid under 20 for all my lights but my HID kit, Both Peter and Kelvin sell their lights for $20.

im running 3000k on my fogs along with 4300k headlights. the 2 put together give out more than enough light. if you don't wanna blind people then go 4300k or maybe 6000k

The bulbs you posted from ebay are Halogen bulbs, not HID's. So they'll give you that yellow look but not anymore light.

If that's what you're looking for we have Nokya Yellow's that probably output more yellow than any other halogen.

Or HID kits at 3000k

Lol, doesn't Floodgatez already rock that? :P

^ I think Floodgatez and Gian (o0aZuMi0o) are rocking yellow everything.

If you want to see yellow, look at Gian's pics. He bought pretty much every single yellow bulb we carry lol

that is even more illegal than what floodgatez has done to his head lights.

Hope I'm not thread jacking here. Not sure if the OP knows this or thought about it... (it's a question I have at least)

When witching to HID fogs on a 2010... does the bulb fit into that "shroud" thing that's covering the oem halogen? Does it have to come out? or can we install HID bulbs without removing it if we don't want to?

I've never seen daylight pics (I've looked before) of the fog housing with hid's installed. Only ever night shots with the lights on.

Just curious. Sorry about changing topic.

You can get both from our sponsors, the yellow XPEL film from Sechemedia and Nokya hyperyellow bulbs from either Peter@Nextmod or ImportsTuning.

Also make sure you get projector lenses and properly aim your headlights. I hate those people......

Ended up purchasing a set of 9006 3000k hoen endurance bulbs , looked a little more dependable then what I could find on eBay.. I was wondering if it was possible to set up the fogs as the drl, has anyone done this?

mazdathree3

Did you get a hid kit or just the bulbs and where did you get them? And I think the fog drl has been done, I know that McGuyver_3 made a indy fog mod tho for the 2nd gen Mazda3's.

That's jokes. I was just talking to MacGuyver and Flipdaddy about this same issues earlier today. hahahaha..... I know which one of the TM3 sponsors you tried to get a quote from and they told you that a DRL bypass was needed for your foglights. That's insane that they would tell you that! Please tell me that you won't be going there for the install?!?!

as we let you know there as well removing the bulb cover inside the lamp may not get you more light as it is no longer directed but you have the higher chance to get a lot more glare

I get bulbs from eBay. I paid around 4 dollars for the same bulbs sold from sponsors on here and in pacific mall that go for 35 dollars and more.

They last about a year and a half. If your lucky two. But for 4 bucks who gives a flying ****. What a deal.
