Nothing too revolutionary here... It's thinner, same battery life, it can come with a white bezel (if they ever get them out), dual-core CPU, and Canada is again a second-class citizen with regards to release date.

33% thinner. 15% lighter, 9x better graphics performance, dual core with the same price points and best in class 10 hours battery life. HDMI output, cool case and sw shown so far too

I really like the cover. Just wish they did another live stream. I hate reading live blogs.

Canada is again a second-class citizen with regards to release date. I thought Canada was on the March 11 list with Australia, US, UK and a couple others?

I had the first one, but I'm going to skip this gen, its an improvement but not enough to get me to purchase it.

Considering what is already in pre-production for iPad 3, unless you're planning on selling yours before that one comes out...not worth it IMO.

That was disappointing.

I would have to kind of agree with this. They now have officially made a faster and XXL version of the Itouch lol. Oh but white..because of that see a 20% increase in sales lol

+1. I'd totally buy it if I didn't have the original, and it works great for me at the moment.

I really like the Android ones, but having amassed a number of key apps I'd have to wait for the same type of apps to be available on Android (PDF Expert, Padport photo portfolio, Quickoffice etc).

The speed bump was nice, but in all the 2nd generation doesn't offer enough of an improvement over the 1st generation that would warrant an upgrade for me.

Truth be told, I was intently waiting for the release before making a decision on what tablet to get. Don't get me wrong, the iPad2 is nice but it doesn't stand out from the pack. Revolutionary? Not really. Probably closer to "they got some things right in this version".

Apple is often accused of being over priced, however the iPad is not only competitively priced its cheaper in some instances with similar specs, e.g Moto Xoom, $800 without contract, $600 with a contract.

Given my experience with the iPad, with a great bump in speed I still see it as the market leader (especially given the price) even if its not "revolutionary". This is from someone who definitely prefers Android over iOS in phones (i.e. where the app environments are more equivalent). However in 6 months-1 year it could be a different story, forcing Apple to up their game.
